Shatterproof coloured Plt bulbs have a coating put over the glass of lamp under factory conditions to make the bulb shatterproof
This coating will not go brown or burn.

These type of coloured shatter proof lamps will stop the glass from going to food areas, totally sealing all the glass and toxing inside coloured membrane of PLT.
